Q: What is a zine?
A: Zines are small scale, self-published works that are typically created via photocopiers and can be found in punk and DIY circles.
Q: I don’t make zines, can I still apply?
A: Yes! Fresno Zine Fest welcomes not just zines, but also literary magazines, poetry, indie publishers, small press, and artists as well!
Q: What file types should my work samples be?
A: Pretty much any file type will do so long as it’s viewable! Please keep file sizes under 15MB.
Q: What are the table sizes and costs?
A: All table sizes will cost the flat $25 vendor fee. We are also allowing exhibitors to request specific table and booth sizes, so table sizes can vary.
Q: Can I share my table with another exhibitor?
A: Yes, absolutely! Once you have been accepted, you can request a table buddy.
Q: Will chairs and tables be provided?
A: Tables and chairs will not be provided by the event. You must bring your own tables and chairs.
Q: When will I know if I’ve been accepted?
A: Late September.
Q: What is Fresno Zine Fest’s stance on AI-generated work?
A: Fresno Zine Fest expressly prohibits the exhibition and sale of AI-generated work, and exhibitors must own the rights to the work they are exhibiting/or selling at the event, or have obtained permission from the rights holder.
Violators of this rule will be removed from Fresno Zine Fest and banned from all future Fresno Zine Fest events.
